Prefelt
Our prefelt is made in Germany from very fine 19.5mic merino wool, which is needled into a thin fleece.
Needle fleece is very suitable as a basis for the production of thin felt clothing. The felt surface becomes nice and even and the often time-consuming laying out of the wool is no longer necessary. In addition, very clearly contoured shapes can be cut out of prefelt, which can then be felted onto fabrics, chiffon scarves and other felt surfaces.
The combination of needle felt with various open-weave fabrics such as mousseline, ponge silk or chiffon is suitable for nunofelt projects.
You will find a selection of different prefelts in different strengths as well as needle felts in combination with silk. Our cuts of 30x60cm are very suitable for small projects.
